The song, George Harrison-A Tribute, has now moved up into the # 11 position on the Museeks Classic Rock Charts

The song / video soundtrack "George Harrison-A Tribute" from my 2002 CD, Transparent, continues to move up the Classic Rock Top 40 Charts at Museeks.com, coming in this week at # 12 up from #14 last week. In November of 2009 George Harrison – A tribute was at #17. Museeks.com is a web based music site offering free streaming audio as well as purchase options and artist website linkups.. Music Man, a new record release by Austin, Texas Roots / Americana singer / songwriter Jim Keaveny hits # 11 on "Roots Music Report. "The Alternate Root" compares Jim Keaveny favorably with the likes of Texas own Townes Van Zandt, Arlo Guthrie and Bob Dylan. Jim is currently on a US Tour and will be taking his enlivening style of American Roots Music to several European Countries including Holland ( think Amsterdam!) Belgium and England.

The greed and ruthlessness of Big Oil + Big Money + Corrupt Politics is now being flaunted openly in the faces of the American People. The Gulf Coast of the United States of America is rapidly and steadily becoming off limits to the citizens who live, work, vacation, invest and retire there. Not only are vast amounts of crude oil from the BP Deep Sea Well Explosion still pouring out into the sea, the Crude is showing up on various Gulf Coast shorelines and wetlands. It is now a Federal Offense to fish vast areas of the Gulf Of Mexico Coast. Catching a fish because you are hungry and have nothing else to eat is prohibited.
Now enter Tropical Storm and Hurricane season ( started June 1 ). These weather occurrences pick up water from the ocean. Oil floats on top of the water. When a storm passes over the Gulf of Mexico, it will be picking that oil up and then raining it down, on the coastland and miles inland. This oily rain ends up on vegetation and in water supplies, like reservoirs, lakes and rivers.
Don't be mistaken or fooled
THE DISASTER IN THE GULF IS NO ACCIDENT.
BP had no business starting that well if they had no tested fix.

On November 14th and 15th, 2008, the song, "Back From The Warzone" from the record "Leddfinger- Instrumental Electric Guitar Music" was featured in the dance production, "Dancers At Work", which took place in the 200-seat Great Hall at Marymount Manhattan College in Manhattan. Vanessa Gale performed her original dance routine to Back From The Warzone a total of three performances during the two night premier.

A surprise guest, the one and only PINETOP PERKINS, rattled the ivories for the extreme delight of a packed New Years Eve audience. Up and comers, the CARSON ALEXANDER BAND provided the rest of the line up, solidly nailing the vibe of these 2 MUSICAL GIANTS!!

Bo Diddley was in Austin recently for a show at the Paramount Theater. His show was upbeat and lively despite a recent back operation and the loss of some toes to diabetes. He had his trademark square red guitar and led the audience through a resounding "HEY BO DIDDLEY" call/ answer session. He also sang a new tune called "Wake Up America". Who would of thought that he would have such insight into current affairs...Thank You Bo Diddley!
